Buffalo Creek is a rugged, game-rich hunting ranch in the Frio Canyon of the Texas Hill Country. Over 40 species of game animals roam a variety of terrain, including six elevations in excess of 2000', deep canyons, creek bottoms and densely wooded hillsides. Mountain streams feed a central lake as well as numerous ponds. These are splendid game viewing areas.
No matter what game you are hunting, you can expect to see many trophy animals from all over the world each day. The fishing on the Ranch is first rate with trophy bass and huge catfish available by special arrangement.
Big game hunting is our specialty. Whether your desire is exotics or whitetail, we can offer you a hunting experience second to none! All hunting on the Ranch is strictly "fair chase". We welcome all hunters and have superb facilities to accommodate handgunners and bow hunters. Families and non-hunting guests are always welcome.
During your hunt, you will be accompanied by one of our experienced guides. Your guide will help “get you on” your trophy. He'll provide you with all of the information you'll need to judge the quality of the trophy and make the correct shot. Complimentary field dressing and cooler storage of game is also provided.

Buffalo Creek Ranch is a family owned and operated hunting destination in the Texas Hill Country about 100 miles from San Antonio. Founded in 1992, Buffalo Creek hosts guests from around the world. These clients include families and first-time hunters as well as corporations and Weatherby Award winners. We hold life memberships in Safari Club International, International Professional Hunters Association, Dallas Safari Club, Exotic Wildlife Association, NRA and SCI-Italian Chapter.
